What A Feeling, Finishing 250kms In Budgie Smugglers
In early March 2013, myself and my good mate Richie Bray embarked on an adventure and challenge of a lifetime. The Race The Planet’s Atacama Crossing is a 250km multi-stage ultra-marathon across the Atacama Desert in Chile. The thought of that distance was daunting enough, let alone the heat and having to carry your own food and supplies. I enjoyed every minute of the week and not only found myself thriving in the conditions and loving the physicality of this brutal race, but I made many new friends who continue to inspire me now and will continue to into the future.
