If I was to go all the way down to Patagonia to put my body through 250kms of grueling trails, it made sense to add a couple of days to the front of the challenge to try out some of the local fly fishing. I secured a great guide in Nico from Bariloche Anglers who I highly recommend. The fishing was fun but challenging as the water was running high and fast but I caught a few nice rainbow trout and it was a great way to get to know the landscape I was about to run the following week. The riverside camping with 1st Class food and drink served up by Nico was all time.
