Camp Laird

Sometime in October 2025, I found myself doing pull-ups beneath a helicopter before falling military style into the deep blue ocean where trained Navy Seals were positioned to get me safely into a support boat. This was day two of Camp Laird on the North Shore of O’ahu, a waterman experience hosted by the OG waterman himself Laird Hamilton and brought together by Mick Davis and the team from Amphora Events.

The Camp Laird experience did not disappoint and ticked every box for me. I returned back to my world more motivated than ever. The highlight video and photos below hardly scratch the surface of the many adventures we embarked on during the action-packed 4 days I spent with incredible ocean athletes and 20 other motivated players seeking inspiration, knowledge and access into this usually inaccessible world.
